Winning lottery ticket sold in Maspeth

A top-prize-winning lottery ticket worth over $12,000 was bought and sold in Queens yesterday, Sept. 1.

The winning Take 5 ticket, worth $12,852.50, was sold on Monday at Platho Deli Grocery Inc., located at 53-80 65th Place in Maspeth.

Take 5 players with midday and evening draws on the same ticket must check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to determine if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding midday or evening draw.

Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39, televised twice daily at 2:30 pm and 10:30 pm.

A prize winner has up to a year from the date of the drawing to claim the money.
