Four crooks sought in Hillside Avenue assault in Holliswood last month: NYPD

The NYPD released a shocking video Wednesday that shows a group of four crooks beating up a man and robbing him at a Hillside Avenue construction site in Holliswood late last month.

Police from the 107th Precinct in Fresh Meadows are on the lookout for the crooks who jumped a 60-year-old man as he was walking near a construction wall near 188th Street at around 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29. The four men approached him from behind, pushed him to the sidewalk and forcibly removed his Apple iPhone Pro from his pants pocket before running off down Hillside Avenue, police said. The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene.

One wore a black hooded sweatshirt, a black facemask, black sweatpants with red and white stripes and white sneakers. A second suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt, a black facemask, black sweatpants and black sneakers. A third assailant wore a black hoodie with a graphic across the chest, a black facemask, light-colored sweatpants and black and white sneakers. The fourth mugger wore a black hooded sweatshirt with a picture on the front, a black facemask, light-colored ripped blue jeans and black sneakers.
