F train rider robbed at gunpoint inside Union Turnpike subway station in Kew Gardens: NYPD

A man was robbed at gunpoint inside the Union Turnpike F train subway station in Kew Gardens last week, according to authorities.

Police from the 112th Precinct in Forest Hills and Transit District 20 are looking for two suspects who were on the southbound F train at around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, when they approached the 26-year-old victim on board a southbound F train as it entered the Union Turnpike station. One of the suspects allegedly pulled out a handgun and removed the rider’s backpack which contained his approximately $800 in cash, a cellphone and clothing.

The NYPD on Nov. 21 released surveillance images of the perpetrators, showing them inside the Union Turnpike subway station. One of the suspects wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and a black face covering, while his accomplice wore a camouflage hoodie with Lakers across the chest, black sweatpants, gray sneakers and a blue face mask.
