Three suspects break into Richmond Hill home and steal safe containing thousands in cash: NYPD

Police from the 102nd Precinct in Richmond Hill are looking for three men who broke into a home near Forest Park and stole a safe containing thousands of dollars of cash during the afternoon of Monday, Dec. 12.

The three suspects forcibly entered the house on 109th Street near 86th Avenue through a rear bedroom window around 3 p.m.

Once inside, they removed a safe that contained approximately $10,000 in cash and fled the location in a blue van in an unknown direction, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance photos of the three men, each of whom had medium complexions.

One of the suspects had short hair and wore a black Nike jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black facemask.

The second suspect also wore a black Nike jacket with a hood, black jeans and dark boots.

The third suspect was heavyset and wore a black hoodie and black jeans.

A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the three suspects.
