Several cars vandalized near Forest Park in Richmond Hill Tuesday morning: NYPD

Several cars had their windshields smashed near the southern end of Forest Park on Tuesday morning, Jan. 10, according to authorities.

Police from the 102nd Precinct in Richmond Hill are investigating the incident that occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. in a parking lot in the vicinity of 101st Street and Park Lane South.

Authorities say that at least four cars in the lot had smashed windshields, and two more cars were damaged around the corner on Park Lane South, according to an eyewitness.

A sergeant at the 102nd Precinct confirmed that an investigation was in progress, but could not provide further details.
