Book Launch Party for “Prepare for Departure”

Please join us for the official book launch of “Prepare for Departure: Notes on a Single Mother, a Misfit Son, Inevitable Mortality and the Enduring Allure of Frequent Flyer Miles.” This new book by award-winning travel writer Mark Chesnut is set partly in Queens and addresses (often with dark humor) topics including family relations, coming out and dealing with the loss of a loved one. We’ll be celebrating in a private space at The Queensboro, one of the coolest restaurants in Jackson Heights, with a reading, book signings and lots of talk about travel and family!
