“Nature is not just one thing….The nature of trees and grass is one thing. But there are many degrees of nature. Interstellar spaces are also nature. There is human nature. In the city, you have to have a new nature. Maybe you have to create that nature.” – Isamu Noguchi

Join Noguchi Museum educators at Socrates Sculpture Park in a monthly series of free programs exploring a ‘new nature’ for New Yorkers. Explore reproductions of Isamu Noguchi’s sculptures and writing, and use the environment of Socrates Sculpture Park to inspire conversation and creativity. All participants will be given a free pass to visit The Noguchi Museum after the workshop.

These hands-on workshops are free and open to all ages and skill levels. Masks are required, and space is limited to ensure social distancing is possible. RSVP required.
