Woodhaven by Edward Wendell, a lifetime resident and the Executive Director of the Woodhaven Cultural & Historical Society.

Once known as Woodville, a mid-18th century small farming town, Woodside grew in size and shape and later became a site of two nationally famous racetracks: Union Course and Centerville.
