Boxer Cletus Seldin Speaks at Queens Temple on April 15

Professional boxer “the Hebrew Hammer” Cletus Seldin will be speaking at Temple Beth Sholom of Flushing on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 10 AM.

The Long Island-born Seldin is the former WBC silver light welterweight champion. Seldin was named after New York Yankee Clete Boyer, who was a close friend of his grandparents. In honor of his Jewish heritage, Seldin wears a Star of David on his trunks. The back of Seldin’s ring jacket reads “Remember the Masada.”
