Title: Executive Director

1. What do you love about your job and why?
I enjoy being able to provide youth with a safe space where they can be themselves, whether it’s on the basketball court, exposing them to a career in public service, or watching someone transform from the class bully to a leader. I enjoy meeting volunteers and donors who believe in and support the next generation of youth. I am fortunate to work with peers who share my passion for this work.

2. What are your business goals over the next five years?
To maximize the potential of vulnerable South Asian youth who are living in under-resourced neighborhoods and attending overcrowded schools by inspiring academic, leadership, artistic, athletic and emotional growth. To develop a scalable service delivery model and provide high- quality services to all youth we serve. And to cultivate the next generation of empowered leaders.

3. How do you give back to the community?
I have worked in government, academia, and at nonprofits, and the common thread throughout my career has been public service. Whether it has been helping the victims of 9/11 or assisting low-income families become more self-sufficient, I have devoted my career to finding solutions that impact the community.
