BROOKLYN — A Far Rockaway teen was arrested last week after she left the scene of an accident where a delivery man was killed, police said.
Kathryn S. Foris, of Beach 128th Street, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident Friday for the incident that took place the night before at Gerritsen and V avenues, police said.
Around 8 p.m., Ju Xiang Chen, 49, was driving his moped for a delivery and was trying to cross onto Gerritsen Avenue from Avenue V when Foris struck him with her Nissan Altima, investigators said.
The teen allegedly ran a red light as she was making her way southbound on Gerritsen Avenue, according to police.
Chen was rushed to New York Community Hospital of Brooklyn, but was pronounced dead when he arrived there, investigators said.
