A Queens woman was found dead late Thursday night in her Astoria apartment, police say.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call to 30th Street where they discovered Tara Hawes, 33, with blunt force trauma to her head. EMS pronounced the victim dead on arrival.
Police are searching for the woman’s husband, Jordan Hawes, for questioning in regards to the death.
Police described Hawes as 5-feet-9-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds.
