Two-time silver slugger award winner Darryl Strawberry is entering his golden years.
Strawberry turns 50 on Monday, March 12 and the former rookie of the year will be celebrating his birthday amongst fans at his Douglaston sports grill — Strawberry’s. Guests will have a chance to sign a “supersized” birthday card for the four-time World Series champ and meet the New York baseball legend.
Mets memorabilia will be raffled off and a DJ will be on hand to keep the crowd dancing.
