Police have increased the reward to $45,000  for the capture of John Thomas, 24, who is wanted for the shooting and attempted murder of NYPD Sergeant Craig Bier, said authorities.

Initially, there was a $32,ooo reward for the Queens man that shot Bier in both legs on August 8 in Jamaica.

Thomas is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall and 180 pounds.

Anyone with information in regards to this suspect is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
