Teen girls wanted for attempted theft at Jamaica subway station

Police are seeking two teens who tried to rob a woman at the Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer subway station.

The 42-year-old victim was attempting to enter an elevator inside of the station at 12:40 p.m. on May 24 when she was approached by the suspects who attempted to take her cell phone, said police.

A struggle took place and the suspects fled without any property.

The suspects are described as black females and 16 to 18 years old.
