Man pleads not guilty to weapons charges

JACKSON HEIGHTS — A Jackson Heights man pleaded not guilty to several federal weapons charges after being accused of allegedly shooting at two cops while wearing a fake beard and glasses, the New York Post reported.

Antonio Olmeda, 54, was charged with illegally possessing a .45-caliber, semi-automatic handgun and .38-caliber revolver when police officers arrested him in December 2011, the Post said. His lawyer did not seek bail, and Olmeda faces 60 years in prison if convicted, according to the paper.
