A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with an unoccupied parked van in Corona Friday night, police said.

Carlos Leon, of Roosevelt N.Y., had been driving 2007 Suzuki along Junction Boulevard near 52nd Avenue at the time of the accident, authorities said.

Police were called to the area at about 8 p.m. and there they found a badly injured Leon. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Six bouquets of flowers and three candles decorated the corner of 53rd Avenue and Junction Boulevard, where the words, “Gone but not forgotten” were written on the curb. On the covering of one bouquet were the words, “RIP CJ.”

An investigation into the crash was ongoing, according to cops.
