Erick Salgado is a pastor in a Brooklyn church.
Bill Thompson served as city comptroller and Board of Education president.
Former Forest Hills resident Anthony Weiner is a former U.S. congressman.
Public Advocate candidates
Catherine Guerriero, a professor, has worked for the Archdiocese.
Councilwoman Letitia James is a former public defender.
Attorney Reshma Saujani is a former deputy public advocate.
Daniel Squadron is a state senator in Albany.
Sidique Wai is an adviser to the NYPD commissioner.
Comptroller candidates
Eliot Spitzer served as state attorney general and governor.
Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer served in the Assembly.
