A 42-year-old rapper who grew up in South Jamaica and had ties to the famed Queens native, 50 Cent, was killed in a shooting that left a 22-year-old man in critical condition and injured two others Friday afternoon, police said.

Officers were called to 134th Avenue and Farmers Boulevard in Springfield Gardens just after 4 p.m. and found four gunshot victims, including 42-year-old Jamal Green, whose rap name is Mazaradi Fox.

Green, who had been shot in the torso, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A 21-year old man, who had been shot in his neck and shoulder, was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition, and a 22 year old man, who had been wounded in his leg, was brought to North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in stable condition, according to cops.

The neck of the fourth shooting victim, a 32-year-old woman, had been grazed by a bullet, and she was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, police said.

The group had been in a Nissan SUV at the time of the shooting, the New York Post reported.

No one was arrested in the shooting as of Friday evening, the NYPD said, and the investigation was ongoing.

Green grew up in South Jamaica, earned part of his nickname from his Maserati sports car and became part of 50 Cent’s G-Unit rap crew after he got in touch with the “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” creator, according to his biography on Last.fm, a music recommendation site.

Green signed on with G-Unit record label in 2007 and appeared on several songs but never put out an official album with the label, and the agreement dissolved the following year, MTV.com reported.

“Saddened by the news of Mazaradi’s tragic passing my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends,” 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, tweeted at 8:25 p.m.
