The international tango company Tango Lovers is coming to Queens as part of their U.S. tour.

They will perform at the Queens Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday, on their only New York stop.

The show will include performances that take the audience through a variety of emotions by telling stories through dance.

Twenty artists will take to the stage during the course of the evening.

Tango Lovers Company is based in Uruguay and Argentina.

Two of its dancers are Manuela Rossi and Juan Malizia, who won the 2014 World Tango Dance Tournament held in Buenos Aires in August.

The company’s artistic director is Marcos Ayala, 26, who won the World Tango Dance Championship in Japan in 2006.

Ayala said that his company is different because “we perform situations and stories that are sensitive, and introduce contemporary elements and classical tango dance, in order to attract diverse and young generations, while preserving the essence of Tango.”

Queens is the first stop on Tango Lovers’ U.S. tour. The company will then perform at Washington D.C. on Oct. 16, Boston on Oct. 17 and Fort Lauderdale on Oct. 18. Tickets can be purchased for all stops at www.tangolovers.com.
