A Long Island man who was hit by a minivan on North Conduit Avenue near JFK Airport earlier this month has died, police said Tuesday.

The 2011 Toyota Sienna was heading westbound on North Conduit Avenue just before midnight on Feb. 4 when it struck Marco Orellana near Cranston Street. After hitting Orellana, the driver then rear-ended an unoccupied, parked SUV with a trailer attached.

Orellana, a 48-year-old Bellmore resident, was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition, but succumbed to his injuries on Feb. 11.

The investigation is ongoing.
