Plenty of fall-themed fun could be found in Forest Park on Oct. 17, as hundreds of residents came out to enjoy a free fall festival sponsored by Councilman Eric Ulrich.

According to Ulrich’s office, more than 1,500 people took part in the festivities, with the youngest of them enjoying bouncy castles. Children also got to have their face painted, pick out and decorate a pumpkin, climb a rock wall set up by the NYPD and participate in games and dancing.

Despite being busy for the playoffs, Mr. Met also took some time out to visit with children and have his photo taken with them.

Ulrich is hosting another fall festival in his district this coming Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon to 3 p.m. at Tudor Park-Addabbo Playground, located on North Conduit Avenue between 80th and 88th streets in Ozone Park.
