Police searching for three suspects who robbed teenager in Rego Park

The NYPD is asking the public’s assistance for help in identifying and locating three suspects in connection to a robbery that occurred in Rego Park.

The suspects approached a 19-year-old victim at the intersection of Booth Street and 67th Avenue at 10 a.m. on Sept. 7, police said. They forcibly removed the victim’s cellphone, learner’s permit, college ID and $37. There were no reported injuries as a result of the robbery, according to authorities.

The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 23 years of age, standing between 5 foot 10 inches and 5 foot 11 inches tall, with a tattoo on his left arm and was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The suspect was riding a bicycle.

Police described the second suspect as a Hispanic male in his 20s, approximately 5 foot 9 inches tall and last seen wearing a red t-shirt with the number 10 on the sleeve and red shorts.

The third suspect was described as a Hispanic male who is 19 or 20-years-old, standing 5 foot 7 inches tall and last seen wearing a gray polo short sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
