Man mugged in Flushing by gang wielding crossbow and firearm

A 32-year-old man was mugged by four men armed with a gun and a crossbow this weekend on a corner of Flushing’s Leavitts Park, according to the NYPD.

The victim was at the corner of Leavitt Street and 32nd Avenue at 12:15 a.m. when he was approached by four unknown black men who demanded that he give them his property.

According to cops, the victim was shot with both a crossbow and a firearm after giving up a wallet with his ID, banking card and $100 in cash. The suspects then fled to an unknown location with the victim’s property

He was taken to the hospital with an injury to right arm from the crossbow and a lower torso injury inflicted by the firearm.
