Police continue to seek two suspects who invaded a Flushing man’s apartment last month with the assistance of the victim’s roommate.
According to authorities, the bandits — armed with a firearm, stun gun and knives — forced their way inside a 30-year-old man’s Elm Avenue residence at 4:17 a.m. on Oct. 3.
When the victim tried to fight off the duo, police said, they assaulted him with the stun gun and slashed him about the body. They then removed an undetermined amount of cash from a safe and two watches, then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The victim brought himself to Flushing Hospital for treatment, and the home invasion was reported to the 109th Precinct.
Following an investigation, detectives arrested the victim’s roommate — Antonio Cordova, 41 — and charged him with first-degree robbery and criminal possession of a weapon. According to police, Cordova allegedly showed the bandits the apartment prior to the home invasion.
