Bar feud leads to shooting in Elmhurst: NYPD

What started out as an apparent dispute inside an Elmhurst nightclub came to a bloody end with one of the alleged combatants shot multiple times on a nearby street corner early Monday morning, police said.

According to authorities, officers from the 110th Precinct found the bullet-riddled 33-year-old man at the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and Elbertson Street at about 4:40 a.m. Paramedics rushed the victim to a local hospital in critical condition.

Based on information obtained during a preliminary investigation, police determined that the victim was allegedly involved in an argument that began inside a nearby bar. Moments later, an unknown assailant allegedly shot him.

The investigation is ongoing.
