Verbal dispute turns violent near Forest Hills exit on Jackie Robinson Parkway

Cops continue to search for the gunman involved in a non-fatal shooting on the Jackie Robinson Parkway earlier this month.

According to police, the suspect — identified as a light skinned black male in his mid-twenties, standing 5 foot 8 inches tall — and the 23-year-old male victim engaged in a verbal dispute at 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 5 near the parkway’s Metropolitan Avenue exit.

The argument turned violent when the suspect went back to his car, pulled out a firearm and proceeded to fire several rounds at the victim’s car, striking him in the left thigh and grazing his abdomen, authorities stated.

The suspect then fled in a dark colored BMW.

Officers from the 102nd Precinct responded to the incident and EMS units transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital where he was treated and released.
