Cornell Iral Haynes Jr. is a hip-hop sensation who is better known by his stage name “Nelly.” The St. Louis rapper has produced various top 10 songs, including collaborations with Kelly Rowland, Justin Timberlake and country music celebrity Tim McGraw. The two-time Grammy Award winner also has clothing lines, a signature sneaker, and his own reality TV show, “Nellyville,” on BET.

Richard Lamar Hawk is a currently skyrocketing hip-hop sensation who is better known by his stage name “Silentó.” The Atlanta native released his debut single, “Watch Me,” via YouTube on June 25, and it generated more than 2.5 million views in one week. Eventually, the song peaked at number three on the U.S. Billboard charts.

These two luminaries will demonstrate their performance talent at Resorts World Casino New York City on Friday as they host New Year’s Eve parties.

Set for a 9 p.m. start, Nelly will perform his chart-topping songs “Hot In Herre,” “Ride Wit Me,” and “Country Grammar” at the South Jamaica venue’s Central Park Event Space Stage (tickets: $75). Then, Silentó will keep the groove flowing at Bar 360, a nearby platform, with high-energy party band 12X, which jams out the rock, dance, top 40, old-school hip-hop, reggae and pop hits, and DJ Lodato, a house music specialist (tickets: $25).

Of course, there will be a champagne toast and a balloon drop when the clock strikes midnight.
