The application period for Steinway Estates, a new affordable housing complex in Astoria, began this week.

The building offers 83 newly constructed units at 19-80 Steinway St., where a studio apartment goes for just $895 per month. Steinway Estates also features one-two and three-bedroom units ranging from $1,135 to $2,586 per month.

Annual income requirements range from $32,023 for a one-person household to $130,260 for a six-person household, according to NYC Housing Connect.

Amenities include stainless steel appliances, bamboo flooring, units with balconies, a recreational roof deck, laundry room and on-site parking.

A percentage of these units are set aside for mobility-disabled applicants and two percent of the units will go to hearing or visually impaired applicants.

Preference for 50 percent of the units will go to residents living in Community Board 1.

The application deadline is May 23. To apply, click here.
