Astoria Flea & Food is coming back to Astoria this July.

Are you ready for a summer night on the town with scrumptious food and beautiful scenery in Astoria? Then mark your calendar for July, as the third annual Astoria Flea & Food returns to Kaufman Astoria Studios.

The Astoria Flea, which is a partnership between the LIC Flea & Food and Kaufman Astoria Studios, will take place at the studios’ outdoor movie lot located at 34-12 36th St. For three Saturday nights in a row, July 16, 23, and 30, families and friends can enjoy the second annual night market from 7 p.m. to midnight.

The fun-filled event includes favorite vendors from LIC Flea & Food, plus some cool new ones.

“We’re thrilled to partner again with Kaufman Studios to host a community event that will highlight exceptional vendors, selling handmade goods and delicious food that you can’t find anywhere else,” said Joshua Schneps, co-publisher of QNS and president of LIC Flea and Food.

The festivities will showcase the tasty food and crafty items of about 80 vendors, in addition to a bar that serves beer and wine from local Queens breweries. Last year, thousands of people attended the night market.

As you dance to live music, gaze around the historical lot that served as the original home of Paramount Pictures. Kaufman Astoria Studios was established in 1920 and over 100 silent films were made on its sound stages. Today, major Hollywood, television and digital on-demand series are created at the studio, including the Netflix hit “Orange is the New Black,” NBC’s “State of Affairs” and “Sesame Street.”

“Hosting a market in the heart of Astoria with world-famous movie studios in the backdrop creates a fantastic atmosphere to enjoy a summer night,” said Schneps. “It’s one of the few times that the public will get access to this movie lot.”

For the duration of Astoria Flea, LIC Flea and Food will remain open on its regular schedule every Saturday and Sunday throughout July and will feature several food festivals.
