Police search for woman who brought a gunshot wound victim to Jamaica Hospital

She dropped off a shooting victim, then left without a trace.

Police want the public’s help in finding a woman who may know more about who shot a 20-year-old man that she dropped off at Jamaica Hospital on Memorial Day weekend.

On Sunday, May 29, law enforcement sources said, the unknown female escorted the victim, who sustained a gunshot wound to the right side of his back, to the hospital’s emergency room, located at 89-00 Van Wyck Expwy., at 9:47 p.m.

Before police could get her identity, authorities said, the female left the hospital.

As of now, nothing is known of the assault that left the victim hospitalized, police said. The 102nd Precinct is investigating the incident.

The woman is described as Hispanic, last seen wearing a pink shirt, white skirt with vertical lines and white shoes.
