Bayside appears to be the backdrop for an upcoming production.

Film trucks were spotted this afternoon lined up across from Bayside High School along Corporal Kennedy Street.

 

Students outside of the school indicated that they were unsure what was being filmed, but that they were told it was a television show.

Parking-restriction postings around the immediate area list the project name as “Power S4,” which translates to season four of the television show “Power.”

According to reports, the series was recently renewed for both season four and five after registering a record number of viewers for the network during its season three premiere on July 17.

The series stars Omari Hardwick, Lela Loren and Curtis Jackson, better known as hip-hop artist “50 Cent.” According to IMDb, “Power” is an American crime drama which follows a wealthy New York night club owner who lives a double life as a drug kingpin.

The season three finale aired on Sep. 25.
