The NYPD released on Friday afternoon an image and a video of a suspect involved in the stabbing of a 23-year-old man on an Ozone Park street earlier this month.

According to police, the attack occurred as a result of a dispute among a group of men in front of a home on 109th Street just north of Liberty Avenue. The cause of the argument is under investigation.

The beef turned bloody, law enforcement sources said, when the suspect pulled out an unknown sharp object and stabbed the victim in the lower torso. The perpetrator then fled the scene.

Officers from the 106th Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. Paramedics brought the victim to Jamaica Hospital for a puncture wound; he was treated and listed in stable condition.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS, visit their website or send a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
