Paris Baguette, international bakery and cafe, opens in Sunnyside

Paris Baguette, a bakery with locations across seven countries, has just opened its fifth location in Queens.

Located at 45-22 46th St. in Sunnyside, the bakery had a grand opening celebration on Nov. 26 and Nov. 27. The bakery and cafe offers a variety of food and drink options including breads, pastries, cakes, sandwiches, coffee, tea and smoothies.

It first opened in 1945 as Paris Croissant, a confectionery in South Korea. The first United States store opened in Los Angeles in 2005 and now, the company has more than 1,800 stores worldwide including locations in South Korea, China, Vietnam, Singapore, Japan and France. There are four locations in Bayside and Flushing.

Popular menu items include the garlic cheese baguette, cream cheese doughnut, choux cream bread, raspberry cream cheese pastries and fruit tarts.

Paris Baguette is open Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, visit the website.
