A man allegedly abandoned by his brother after a serious car crash in Woodhaven has died, police said.

Pennsylvania resident, Angel Camacho Jr., 21, died Monday morning as a result of his injuries after his 19-year-old Aidan Camacho lost control of his 2008 Acura in the early hours of Sunday morning, the NYPD said.

According to police, Aidan was driving westbound on the left lane of Atlantic Avenue when he lost control, struck a parked vehicle and a tree near 85th Avenue.

Police were still searching for Aidan, who they said fled the scene of the accident in an unknown direction.

Sources familiar with the case said he got a ride to Interfaith Hospital to treat his injuries, but by the time officers arrived he had left.

Police described Aiden Camacho as Hispanic, 5-foot-8, 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white hooded long-sleeve sweatshirt with dark pants and shoes.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477)
