A 22-year-old man was fatally shot in the face just over the Ridgewood/Bushwick border in Brooklyn early on Sunday morning.
Officers from the 90th Precinct found Jefferson Exantus of the Bronx unconscious and unresponsive outside a building at the corner of Flushing and Scott avenues at 5:21 a.m. on March 19. It’s a block west of Cypress Avenue, which serves as the Brooklyn/Queens border in that area.
Citing police sources, WPIX-TV reported that the building may be an illegal club.
EMS units rushed Exantus to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
