Cops looking for a pair of armed robbers who held up a Flushing cellphone store

Police are searching for two men who robbed a cellphone store at gunpoint in Flushing on Wednesday afternoon.

At 12:30 p.m. on April 19, law enforcement sources said, the two individuals entered a Metro PCS store located 162-08 Northern Blvd. One of the suspects acted as a lookout while the other individual pulled out a silver firearm to the employee at the store, demanding cash.

Authorities said the employee complied with the demand, handing over $200 to the crooks. The pair then fled the scene in a black SUV.

Officers from the 109th Precinct responded to a 911 call about the robber; there were no injuries.

Police described the first suspect as a Hispanic male between 20 and 30-years-old, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. His accomplice is described as a Hispanic male between 20 and 30-years-old, standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.

Both men were last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black shoes.
