A Kew Gardens Hills man was arrested on Sunday morning for allegedly shooting his girlfriend inside his apartment, police said.

Guo Hui Jiang, 43, allegedly shot the 27-year-old woman in the head at his home on 78th Road near 141st Street at 9:40 a.m. on May 14. Police said a child may have also been in the residence during the incident.

Officers from the 107th Precinct responded to a 911 call about the shooting. The woman was transported to Jamaica Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.

Jiang was arrested at the scene and faces charges including attempted murder, assault, criminal weapons, reckless endangerment of a child and several drug charges.
