Located on the roof of the Hyatt Place Hotel within One Fulton Square, Leaf Bar & Lounge features vivid views of downtown Flushing and the Manhattan skyline, along with a craft cocktail bar and a menu of Taiwanese-inspired small plates from Chef Henry Lin, including pork belly buns and molten cheeseburger spring rolls. Stop by any day of the week between 5 and 8 p.m. to take advantage of $6 cocktail specials and $3.50 Naragansett Lagers.

Bourbon Street
Bayside, 40-12 Bell Blvd.
Bourbon Street’s Rooftop Bar, which opened in fall 2015, is an al fresco hangout located in the heart of Bayside’s buzzing food and nightlife strip, Bell Boulevard. The 2,000-square-foot rooftop space features a rotating beer and cocktail selection, raw seafood bar and pizza oven. Patrons can saddle up at the bar, at cafe tables or on cozy banquettes at the French Quarter-style outdoor space, which accommodates 140 people. Situated on the Brooklyn-Queens border, this huge seasonal outdoor beer garden is owned by Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin, the DJ duo behind the popular local dance parties known as Mister Saturday Night and Mister Sunday. The spacious features local brews and a full schedule of events, including outdoor film screenings, live music and dance parties. And, good news: the party can continue year-round at the brand-new Nowadays indoor space.

Good times await. This week, we open for GOOD! . Thursday, May 11th. Doors open at 4pm to a new food menu, twenty-four tap lines stocked with good beers and of course, good tunes. . On Friday, May 12th Love On The Run sets the vibe for the first Back Yard Listening night of the season. Expect to hear forgotten-yet-amazing soul, funk, disco and more. . On Saturday, May 13th, we bring in Arrogant Swine to do a pig roast. Pulled pork platters and sandwiches with all the fixin's in the back yard while Mister Virgil selects the finest records from his collection for us. Also, ping pong tourney at 3pm. . Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden

With over 100 years in the neighborhood, Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden has stood the test of time — and for good reason. Founded, owned and managed by the Bohemian Citizens’ Benevolent Society of Astoria since 1910, the location hosts an array of cultural events and serves a diverse selection of Czech, Slovak bites and beers. On Monday through Thursday between 5 and 7 p.m., take advantage of $4 mugs and $14 pitchers of beer to accompany your Schnitzel or Goulash.

Located atop The Ravel Hotel, Penthouse 808 is a 9,500-square-foot indoor/outdoor space boasting awe-inspiring views of the East River, Queensboro Bridge and Midtown Manhattan. A cocktail-lover’s oasis, the spot has a unique and diverse list of signature mixed drinks, including Volcanic Tikis: super-sized boozy cocktails meant to be shared that are served in Tiki cups. And, if you get hungry, Hawaiian and Asian-inspired dishes served by executive chef Seth Levine, who appeared on season five of the television series “Hell’s Kitchen,” are at your fingertips. Beach with your brew? Entering its third year in the Rockaways, Riis Park Beach Bazaar is a playground of food, drinks and fun. Visit a “BarZaar” station to pick up a cold brew or wine and, if you’re hungry, visit one of the many indoor, outdoor and pop-up food vendors for a bite to eat. The beachfront hangout will also hold a series of free outdoor concerts, DJ sets and summer-friendly events. Click here for the full schedule.
