Police are looking for two men who posed as NYPD officers in Elmhurst.

Cops are on the hunt for two men who posed as police officers in order to rob a 60-year-old man in Elmhurst last week.

According to the NYPD, the incident occurred on Sept. 19 at about 3:20 p.m. around Ithaca Avenue and Britton Avenue. The men, driving a grey sedan, approached the victim and told him they were police officers.

The suspect in the passenger seat also exited the car while the victim was being frisked. The driver took $100 in cash from the victim and both suspects got back in their car and fled the scene.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 6 feet tall and 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green, long-sleeved shirt, black sweat pants and white sneakers.

Police describe the second suspect as a Hispanic male who was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt.
