A Brooklyn cyclist who was traveling on the Kosciuszko Bridge in Maspeth when he was hit by a car who fled the scene died on Saturday, police said.

Kevin Liang, 27, was traveling east bound on the bridge on Sept. 30 at about 7:50 p.m. when a dark colored sedan hit him while trying to move from the left lane to the center lane on the bridge.

Liang, who reportedly worked for the Fire Department, lost control of his bike and fell to the ground. When police responded to the scene, they found Liang in the right lane.

He was transported to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police are still looking for the driver and the investigation is ongoing.
