Cops looking for man who tried to rob two Queens pharmacies within the same week

Police are looking for a man who attempted to rob two Queens pharmacies in as many days.

At 11:25 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 23, an unknown man entered the Fusion Care Pharmacy, located at 187-23 Hillside Ave. in Jamaica. Once inside, he walked toward the back of the store and pointed a screwdriver at the 27-year-old female employee.

When a customer entered the store, the suspect fled the location to parts unknown in a black Jeep Grand Cherokee. There was no reported injuries during the incident and no merchandise was taken.

Just two days later on Wednesday, Oct. 25, the unknown man entered the Brand RX Pharmacy, located at 97-05A 57th Ave. in Corona at 1:58 p.m. Once inside, the suspect approached the 32-year-old male employee, stated he had a firearm in his possession and demanded to know where the prescription medication was kept.

The employee opened one the drawers and the crook removed a 70-pill of bottle of Vicodin. The suspect fled the location to parts unknown. There were no reported injuries during the incident.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion between 25 and 30 years of age, standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, a blue jacket and black sneakers.
