A man from Ridgewood was involved in a fatal accident when a Mack truck collided with his motorcycle in Brooklyn earlier this week, police said.

According to law enforcement sources, detectives responded to a 911 call regarding a collision involving a motorcyclist at the corner of Morgan Avenue and Withers Street at approximately 7:08 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Cops from the 94th Precinct arrived on scene and found Danny Tsang, 28, of St. Nicholas Avenue, unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to the head and body. EMS units also responded and transported Tsang to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Upon further investigation, police determined that a 2007 Mack truck, operated by a 50-year-old male, was traveling northbound on Morgan Avenue attempting to turn onto Withers Street when it collided with Tsang.

The truck driver remained on the scene and there are no arrests at this time, police said.

The NYPD’s Highway Collision Investigation Squad is investigating the incident.
