A 33-year-old Maspeth woman was found dead inside a building in an industrial area of Flushing on Saturday morning, police reported.

Jennifer Franks, 33, of 57th Road was found unconscious and unresponsive inside of 41-16 Fuller Place at 11:22 a.m. on Jan. 13.

Officers from the 109th Precinct and paramedics made the discovery while responding to a 911 call at the location. Franks was pronounced dead at the scene; there were no visible signs of trauma, authorities said.

Her body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy. Sources familiar with the investigation stated that it appears her death was “drug-related.”

The investigation is ongoing.
