A dead man was discovered stuffed inside a donation box in Woodside early last Friday, police said.

Police from the 114th Precinct were responding to a 911 call March 9 at a 7-Eleven located at 61-19 Northern Blvd., when officers found the unidentified man inside the clothing and shoe drop box in the store’s parking lot just after 2:30 a.m.

EMS also responded to the scene and pronounced the man dead at the scene, police said. The man was found with a belt around his neck and had the name “Paola” tattooed across his chest, investigators said.

The investigation was ongoing and the Medical Examiners will determine the cause of death. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
