Two individuals wanted in connection to a burglary, according to police

Police are looking for two individuals who were caught on camera stealing a pair of jackhammers in Briarwood earlier this week.

On March 25 at around 3:30 a.m., two unidentified individuals gained entry to a residence in the vicinity of 85th Avenue through a basement door, according to law enforcement sources.

Police said the duo then proceeded to remove two jackhammers from the location and fled in an unknown direction.

The incident was reported to the 107th Precinct, which released photos of the suspects on its Twitter account.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
