This event aims to make a lasting impression.

A few thousand people are expected to attend the United Ink “No Limits” Tattoo Expo at Resorts World Casino New York City in South Jamaica from April 20 through April 22. The three-day, ink-heavy celebration will feature more than 250 artists who will set up shop and etch out tattoos live and on the spot. (Body piercings, too!)

Some of the craftspeople are local products with huge reputations, such as Sarah Miller and Lydia Bruno of TV show “Ink Master” fame, while others are international. Anton and Marina Avtonomov, who hail from Russia, but currently work in Belgium, will be there. So will “Uber Derek” Entenmann from Austria, Debora “La Mujer Barbuda” Cherys from Madrid, and Canadian Sergey Shanko.

The festival is open to the public, but participants must be at least 18 years old and properly dressed to enter the casino. The schedule follows: April 20, 2 p.m. to midnight; April 21, noon to midnight; and April 22, noon to 8 p.m.

Live entertainment will unfold throughout the weekend, especially burlesque, vaudeville, and the Death Do Us Part Danger show (bottom left) wherein spouses Charlie and Rachel Atlas shock audiences with their knife-throwing and -swallowing expertise and perform other death-defying tricks. Alt model Raquel Reed (bottom middle) will strike many poses, and Italian body painter Lela Perez will create a multi-person, glass, 3-D art project. Plus, Robert Lasardo (bottom right), the Brooklyn-born, ink-covered actor behind Escobar Gallardo on “Nip/Tuck” and a gang member on “CSI: Crime Scene” and “CSI: Miami,” will have his own booth for the entire time.

In other spots, as many as 30 vendors will sell such products as body jewelry, skin care gel, clothing, permanent makeup and coffee (of course). Then there are the seminars, which include From Cartoons to Tattoos: How to Be a Tattoonist with Thom Bulman, The A.R.T. of Areola Restorative Tattooing with Stacie Rae Weir and Samantha Rae and The Art of Mandalas with Matt Fischer. One seminar, Tina Davies Live Blade and Shade Microblading Demo, is sold out.

Finally, the heavy metal band Wolfpack Black, which features former Anthrax singer Dan Nelson, will rock the house on Saturday, April 21, at 9 p.m.
