Cops are looking for the perpetrator who assaulted a 94-year-old man during an argument in Corona on Friday afternoon.

Security camera footage that the NYPD released on Saturday showed the incident as it unfolded at about 12:18 p.m. on May 18 in front of a residence on 97th Street.

As seen in the video, the attacker stopped in front of the home where the 94-year-old male victim was standing at the top of stoop. The two men exchanged words, and it led the attacker to climb up the stoop and confront the senior citizen face to face.

During the beef, the victim pushed the suspect back when he got too close. Seconds later, the perpetrator smacked the man in the face, sending his eyeglasses flying off his face to the sidewalk below.

As the suspect walked back down the stoop, the victim took a swipe at him with his cane, but missed. The perpetrator then spitefully stepped on the victim’s eyeglasses before leaving the scene.

Officers from the 115th Precinct were notified of the incident. The 94-year-old man suffered a small laceration to his nose, but refused medical attention.

Cops described the suspect as a black man in his 50s standing 5 foot 10 inches tall with a medium build, who was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the word “WESTCHESTER” written on the front, dark jeans and black boots.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA), visit the Crime Stoppers website or send a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
