Detectives nabbed a Flushing resident who allegedly shot and killed a 19-year-old man on a Brooklyn street back in December.

Donovan Boomer, 25, of Maple Street was apprehended on June 1 based on information obtained during the ongoing investigation of the Dec. 20, 2017 murder of Jose Osorio, 19, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Osorio and an unidentified 20-year-old man were shot multiple times in front of a home on Havemeyer Street near South Third Street in Williamsburg at about midnight on Dec. 20, 2017. Officers from the 90th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call about the shooting, found Osorio with gunshot wounds to his leg and back; the 20-year-old man had been shot in the shoulder.

Paramedics rushed both men to Woodhull Hospital; Osorio died there a short time later.

The New York Daily News reported on June 2 that Boomer, along with several other men, had allegedly gone to Brooklyn to look for Osorio days before he was gunned down. The motive for the shooting, however, remains unknown and under investigation.

Boomer faces second-degree charges of murder, attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

At his arraignment on Saturday in Kings County Criminal Court, court records indicated, Boomer was ordered held without bail and to return to court on June 7.
