Detectives have identified the irate man who used his cane to strike three female employees at a Corona restaurant during an argument earlier this month.
According to police, at 6 p.m. on June 20, 50-year-old Jose Reyes, entered Pollo Campero Restaurant, located at 103-26 Roosevelt Ave., and got into an argument with a 46-year-old female waitress over use of the beverage machine.
The dispute escalated and Reyes struck the employee as well as two other female workers, aged 23 and 28-years-old, in their arms, legs and torso with his cane. Reyes then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
The 46-year-old employee and 23-year-old worker were taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital/Queens in stable condition.
Reyes is described as a Hispanic man standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a neon short-sleeved shirt, black pants and black shoes.
